My Book encourages children to tell their own story through drawing and storytelling. Prompts with fill-in-the-blank sections, as well as illustrations that children can complete and color, are provided; children can complete a page or two in one sitting. Putting together their own book will help children discover "concepts about print," such as which way to hold the book, how print can be read, turning pages, parts of a book, and more.
